Seniors - Graduation Information

GRADUATION ATTIRE/VESTIMENTA DE GRADACIÓN

Students must be in their cap and gown.  Dress appropriately for the weather and time of day.  Students will be walking on the field, steps, and stage, so  flats or wedges are strongly recommended. Students should wear stoles or cords to represent awards received, extracurricular activites or their culture. Student who rented a gown, must return it before leaving the ceremony in order to receive their diploma.

Los estudiantes deben estar en su toga y birrete. Vístase apropiadamente para el clima y la hora del día. Los estudiantes caminarán en el campo, los escalones y el escenario, por lo que se recomiendan encarecidamente zapatos planos o cuñas.

CEREMONY GUESTS/HUÉSPEDES

Each graduating student will receive 5 tickets for guests.  Children count as one ticket. Seating is first come, first serve for guests with tickets.  There will be two lines; one line for guests with a ticket that will be allowed to enter at 4:00 pm.  The second line is for guests without a ticket who will enter after the first line has entered.  We ask that all guests be in their seats by 4:45pm.  Seating for individuals that have a disability will be available and clearly marked in front of the bleachers on the field.  Only one person may accompany each guest with a disability at this special seating location.  Confetti, balloons, or signage that will obstruct the view of other guests will be not permitted. Students can choose to have 1-2 ticketed guests escort them during the procession.

Cada estudiante que se gradúe recibirá 5 boletos. Los asientos son por orden de llegada y habrá dos filas para los invitados; una fila para invitados con boleto que podrán ingresar a las 4:00 pm. La segunda fila es para invitados sin boleto que pueden ingresar después de que todos los invitados de la primera fila hayan ingresado. Pedimos que todos los invitados estén en sus asientos a las 4:45. Los asientos para personas con discapacidad estarán disponibles y claramente marcados frente a las gradas en el campo. Solo una persona puede acompañar a cada invitado con una discapacidad en este lugar especial para sentarse. No se permitirán confeti, globos o letreros que obstruyan la vista de otros invitados.

PARKING/ESTACIONAMIENTO

All graduates are expected to be dropped off by 3:30pm at our main entrance on Dozier Street.  Parking for guests will be available along Hammel, Dozier, and Marianna Streets. The entrance for graduation will be the softball field entrance on Hammel St.
